Now, Beijing is being a busiest city in the world preceding to Olympic event. Base on to so many aspects have been made, changed, and prepared by Olympic committee, there's a thing attract me and like to write it here. It's about building facilities which constructed with unique, special and luxurious landscape model. What's special :

Terminal 3 is designed refer to environmentally sustainable airport terminal buildings concept and able to respond all city's climate season. Aerodynamic roof, separates water systems for drinking and portable use, intelligent lighting to reduce energy consumption, complement facilities like retail area, free store and service area including bank, business centers, internet services and more have been provided inside this world class airport for China and for the 2008 Olympic games.


National Aquatics Center (Water Cube)

What's special :

Building forms is inspired by the natural form of soap bubbles which give beautiful effect. Sustainable structure with so light weight translucent recyclable panels. Bubbles cladding material have more light than glass, good insulator and resistance to rain shower and weathering effect of sunlight. The greenhouse concept with photovoltaic panels roof gives saving consumption up to 30% of pool hall. Building also have sophisticated water supply efficient system that able to maximize reuse and recycling opportunities.


National Stadium

Area : 204,000 square meters (approx.)

Budget : US$ 423 Million (approx.)

What's special :

The stadium was constructed with 36 km long of unwrapped steel and has form like 'bird's nest'. The steel structure appears random and very complex. This is so difficult design building even more it built on seismic zone. High calculation, analysis and modeling are needed to ensure this building able to withstand earthquakes. Therefore, this is a really innovative stadium as collaboration of its architecture and engineering consultant.

'China will grow larger', A sounding sentence I'm heard when playing computer war game 'General - Command and Conquer'. If you are younger and like computer's game, you should be know it. That statement always blare out every construct a building for China team. So what's the relationship to the Olympic event? China or Beijing exactly has been chosen as host of International Olympic 2008, the largest world sport event. Olympic is known as International multi sport event (wikipedia src.) and as a host, China will shows over the world through its high credibility and seriousness by working hard from the beginning of preparation to the end, forming the committee, prepare all sport facilities and infrastructure, bring a thousand people to participated, and surely has set up billions dollar budget to success this event.

I ever received an email but I forgot when the time exactly I got it, I guess more than six month ago. I don't know about the detail content yet even more the email had been deleted now. The things that I remembered is just the picture inside. I knew that was like a kind of LCD Monitor and there are 'SONY' printing mark at its front cover. This time, I try to get any information and hope get the detail about it. Then I search through 'Google search' and found the official online Sony shopping store (USA) address, www.sonystyle.com. Click... Yes!!.. I found it... not difficult! .. but I think that I was totally wrong to guess it. That's not LCD monitor. Look at the picture below, the new Sony display product innovation called as Organic LED (OLED) is the next generation of television. The website note it.

That is really.. really the most thickness television I ever know. With only 3 mm thickness panel and featured by XEL-1 technology with connectivity option consist of 2 HDMI inputs, a digital tuner, memory stick media slot and so many others. In my opinion, this product is really incredible breakthrough idea. The shape is futuristic but simple. Although I'm not check it directly, I sure that this television has high quality picture according to its contrast ratio specification, high brightness and Sony's technology experience even more Sony has claimed this product more efficient in energy consumption because of the utilizing light generated by the organic material.

During for many years, Indonesia has been known through the name of Bali Island. The fact has showed that Indonesia identical with Bali in tourism aspect. Two weeks ago, when I was walking around inside the closest market in my city - Bekasi, I found a small shop where selling the 'second-hand' books. Of course, kinds of books and magazines collection which are offered to buyer have been published more than 2 months ago for the newest version, and even some more of that have 10 years old in age.

Why I was so interested to enter this shop which name is 'TB. (Toko Buku) Rumondang' and looking for some book? The reason are, first, I think it was so unique. That was my first time found the shop alike that opened inside of 'Mega Mall' building. Usually, I can find it at flea market. Second, the books are sold in good package condition as good as the new ones. The seller covered it with transparent plastic, especially for magazines, so they always look fine and clean. The last... yaach, It's about the price. This shop offers very cheap price. Of course, it depend on book's age, means that more older it is, the price is also lower.

Finally, I decided to buy magazines, those are :
